Background
2006 Parnelli Award winner Earl Neal knows the meaning of “third times a charm”, after being nominated in 2004, 2005 and winning in 2006 for Monitor Mixer of the Year. He was also nominated twice by the TEC Awards for Tour Sound Production.
Earl was a Junior in high school when he began his audio engineering career. After graduation, Earl began studying Aviation Technology at Wichita State and continued at CMSU in Warrensburg Missouri. While he was at CMSU Earl began mixing music again and developed a remarkable sense of what music should mean to the listener and the artist.
After being Road Manager/Production Manager/FOH Engineer for local bands, Earl was called to Nashville for his engineering skills. Earl’s audio career covers more than 15 years of audio work with experience as Tour / Production Manager; FOH and Monitor Engineer for domestic and international touring musical acts, such as Toby Keith, Patty Loveless, Lenny Kravitz, Aerosmith, Andrea Bocelli, and Rod Stewart just to name a few.
After listening to the artists and bands comments and problems with their in-ear monitors and studying the different in-ear monitors, Earl developed Fidelity Custom Earphones.
Currently Earl is Monitor Engineer for Patty Loveless, and the developer of Fidelity Custom Earphones.
